CONCEPT

'KIDO KIDO' kit provides two types of education contents.

Feature 01. OBSERVING ANIMALS

Children can observe animals with AR contents through animal cards and smartphone (magnifying glass). They can upload an animal image which is capturing through a smartphone on the tablet.

Feature 02. COMPOSING MUSIC

A user can record any sound through using a microphone and
they make music with recording sources and various instrument sounds in a tablet.

PROTOTYPE

Made product and app prototype, and proceed simple user test.

Some points which are based on the test were improved.

[ Product prototype ]

We tried to find more proper size of product using a rough prototype. And received children's opinion.

17.png

[ Application prototype ]

We made paper UI, and explain the app flow to the child. Tried to find some points which are needed more improvement.

USER TEST _ PROTOTYPE FEEDBACK

- Observed that elementary student using the Kit in the classroom.

- Interviewed with elementary teachers about 'KIDOKIDO' contents.

[ STUDENTS ]

19.png

Children understand these contents in very quickly than I expected because they are already familiar with IT devise.
Moreover, they enjoy
these contents because it feels more realistic animal appearance rather than screen contents.

However, Kit needs to be an improvement that

it is a little heavy to carried and contents are also needed to be more simplified.

[ TEACHERS ]

20.png

Teachers really like this concept, because children need to contents which helps to can solve their curiosity right away.

So 'KIDO KDIO' cansolve this problem in many ways.
Moreover, it has a low probability that exposing bad information rather than PC and TV.

OUTPUT

VALUE

'KIDOKIDO' has a positive possibility that content, which combines with a physical object and digital,

gives a more intuitive and entertaining experience to children as educational content.

And it is an opportunity that suggests positive of scalability in the near future in terms of the education system.
